Natural Peacock Pyrite rock specimen sold by the pound.  These samples of pyrite are encrusted with peacock ore and small amounts of Chalcopyrite. (Chalcopyrite is a copper-iron sulfide mineral.) This gives the pieces a beautiful aesthetic, as the brassy color of the pyrite contrasts with the peacock ore's purple, blue, and pink.

Please note these are smaller pieces, 1-2 inches. As the images show, there are a variety of colors in peacock pyrite.  Not all specimens will show the blues and purples; if you must have said colors, note on your order (hit return to save your notes).  Otherwise, our fulfillment specialist will pull the largest stone(s), in any available color, to fill your order.
